Welcome To Poppin' on the Rock

Our store is located in downtown Dixon, Illinois, and located nearby the riverfront plaza. We make homemade caramel, cheese and classic popcorn every day in our specialty gourmet popcorn shop. Poppin' on the Rock also sells Alligator Ice Slushes.

Customers can enjoy their treats immediately, take some home to share, or enjoy their treat as they walk along and shop. A variety of gift tins are available to purchase as a unique gift.

Offering a varity of different size bags, plus 1, 2, 3, and 6 gallon tins, we can supply your next party or event with specialty packaged products. We recommend you order ahead for the holidays and we ship daily.

Owner Kathleen Smith recently opened Poppin' on the Rock this fall. Kathy has a long history in the food business. For some 40 years she has baked and decorated cakes of all kinds, from simple birthday cakes to 12 foot tall wedding cakes. She currently owns and operates Kathleen M's Chocolates, specializing in "Chucky's," a caramel and pecan treat. She also owned and operated the local Dairy Queen store in Dixon for 11 years.
