Shane F. Pritchard, age 31, 519 Illinois Route 2, Lot 34, Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 700 block West Everett Street on January 31, 2008 at 1:36 a.m. for Driving Under the Influence, Driving While License Suspended, Speeding (48/30), No Insurance, Failure to Properly Secure Child in Child Restraint System, and Endangering the Health or Life of a Child. Pritchard was processed, posted bond and was released.

Billy R. Olroyd, age 32, 2 ½ East Seventh Street, Sterling, Illinois was arrested on January 30, 2008 on a Dixon Police Department warrant for Retail Theft Under $150.00. 

On January 11, 2008, officers responded to ShopKo, 1350 North Galena Avenue, reference a white male leaving the business without paying for merchandise. Upon officers arrive, the white male subject had already left the area and officers were unable to locate the subject. Officer obtained the video surveillance from Nate Reinhold, Loss Prevention Officer at ShopKo. A still photograph was then taken from the video surveillance and posted in the Telegraph. The Dixon Police Department received numerous telephone calls from citizens indicated the subject in the photograph was Olroyd. After further investigation it was determined that Olroyd was the subject on the video surveillance from ShopKo. On January 30, 2008, Olroyd turned himself in at the Dixon Police Department where he was processed and able to post $1,000.00 (10 %) applies. Olroyd was then released pending a court date of February 27, 2008 at 9:00 a.m.

Female juvenile, age 16, of Rock Falls, Illinois, was arrested for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol. The female juvenile was processed and released to a parent.

Ryan L. Reaver, age 26, 409 East Fifth Street, Dixon, Illinois, was arrested at the Dixon Police Department on January 24, 2008 at 7:05 p.m. for Criminal Damage To Fire Fighting Apparatus and Disorderly Conduct. The arrest stemmed from an incident that had occurred at Fuel in the early morning hours of January 24, 2008. Police were dispatched to that location to investigate the discharging of a dry chemical fire extinguisher inside of Fuel at approximately 12:18 a.m.  Reaver was processed and given an Individual Bond.

The Dixon Police Department would like to announce the arrest of three individuals on January 19, 2008 at approximately 1:58 a.m. for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol.  The arrests were made after police received a call of a possible underage drinking party at the Quality Inn and Suites.  Dixon Police Officers along with a Lee County Deputy located the subjects inside the hotel as they were attempting to leave.    

Tyler J. Good, age 18, 602 South Lincoln Avenue, Dixon, Illinois, was arrested for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol.  Good was processed and released on an Individual Bond.

Kelsey D. Braun, age 18, 440 River Bluff Drive, Dixon, Illinois, was arrested for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol.  Braun was processed and released on an Individual Bond.

Joseph M. Owens, age 18, 816 Grant Avenue, Dixon, Illinois, was arrested for Unlawful Consumption of Alcohol. Owens was processed and released on an Individual Bond.

On January 9, 2008 at approximately 8:10 p.m., the Dixon Police Department arrested Neal A. Marcoux on a White County arrest warrant for Drug Induced Homicide. Marcoux, age 48, 616 South Ottawa Avenue was located at his residence after Dixon Police received information from the Ogle County Sheriff’s Department of his whereabouts.  Marcoux was transported to the Dixon Police Department and processed on the warrant. Marcoux was unable to post the $500,000.00 bond was taken to the Lee County Jail.

The Drug Induced Homicide warrant was issued by White County Judge Thomas H. Sutton on January 7, 2008.

NEWS RELEASE

Timothy A. Fielding, 19, 205 Fifth Avenue, Sterling, Illinois, has been arrested on a Dixon Police Department arrest warrant for Unlawful Criminal Conspiracy (Residential Burglary) a Class 1 Felony. Fielding was arrested on January 4, 2008 at 10:00 p.m. with the assistance of the Sterling Police Department. Fielding was unable to post 10% of the $100,000 bond that was set on the warrant by Judge Charles Beckman, and he was remanded to the custody of the Lee County Jail.

The arrest stems from a residential burglary investigation that began on November 21, 2007. Officers were summoned to a residence on the southwest side of Dixon reference a burglary that had occurred. Further investigation revealed that several firearms had been stolen from the residence. Officers recovered three of the stolen firearms from a residence in Sterling on November 27, 2007. Fielding was developed as a suspect in the burglary and an arrest warrant was obtained for him on December 7, 2007. 

Several others were arrested in connection with this burglary. Thomas J. Colwell, 23, No Permanent Address, was arrested on November 30, 2007 for a Dixon Police Department arrest warrant for the following charges: Aggravated Possession of a Stolen Firearm (Class X Felony); Residential Burglary (Class 1 Felony); 3 counts of Possession of a Stolen Firearm (Class 2 Felony); and three counts of Unlawful Use of Weapons by a Felon (Class 2 Felony). Cowell is currently incarcerated in the Lee County Jail.

James P. Rohwer, 20, of 1205 East 20th Street, Sterling, Illinois, was arrested on December 7, 2007 on a Dixon Police Department arrest warrant for Burglary (Class 2 Felony).  Rohwer is currently out on bond.

Milne, 28, No Permanent Address, was arrested on December 8, 2008 on a Dixon Police Department arrest warrant for the following charges: Aggravated Possession of a Stolen Firearm (Class X Felony); Residential Burglary (Class 1 Felony); 3 counts of Possession of a Stolen Firearm (Class 2 Felony); and 3 counts of Unlawful Use of Weapons by a Felon (Class 2 Felony). Milne is currently incarcerated in the Lee County Jail.

On December 18, 2007, Donald E. Hoefke, 27, 124 Ann Street, Rock Falls, Illinois was arrested by Sterling Police officers on unrelated charges. The Dixon Police Department currently holds a valid arrest warrant on Hoefke for the following charges:  Aggravated Possession of a Stolen Firearm (Class X Felony); Residential Burglary (Class 1 Felony); 3 counts of Possession of a Stolen Firearm (Class 2 Felony); and 3 counts of Unlawful Use of Weapons by a Felon (Class 2 Felony). Hoefke, who is on parole, is currently incarcerated in the Whiteside County Jail and will be extradited to Lee County at a later time.

Male juvenile, age 16, Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 800 block of West First Street on January 4, 2008 at 7:07 p.m. for Criminal Damage to Property Under $300.00.  The juvenile was processed and released to a family member.

Roberto E. Ramos, age 20, 419 Jackson Avenue, Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 200 block South Hennepin Avenue on January 4, 2008 at 3:00 a.m. for Battery. Ramos was processed, posted $100.00 bond and was released.

Andrew J. White, age 39, 824 Ridge Court, Dixon, Illinois, was arrested in the 1200 block of North Galena Avenue on January 4, 2008 at 12:49 a.m. for Resistance to Officers, Failure to Display Valid Registration Experation Decals on Snowmobile, Operation of Un-Numbered Snowmobile, Operating a Snowmobile Within 100 Feet of a Dwelling Between Midnight and 6:00am at a Speed Greater than the Minimum for Foreward Motion, Operation of a Snowmobile on the Highway, and Operation on Highway Without a Driver's License or Safety Certificate. White was processed and posted bond pending a court date of January 30, 2008 at 9:00am.

Zeigler, age 22, 1001 West Ninth Street, Sterling, Illinois, was arrested on a Whiteside County warrant for Failure to Appear. Zeigler was taken into custody in the 200 block of South Hennepin Avenue on January 3, 2008 at 12:53 a.m. Zeigler was unable to post the bond and was taken to the Lee County Jail.

Allen, age 58, 536 Hicks Road, Harmon, Illinois, was arrested in the 200 block of South Hennepin Avenue on January 1, 2008 at 6:20 p.m. for Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, Driving While License Revoked, and two counts of Improper Lane Usage. Allen was processed and posted bond. Allen was released pending a court appearance on January 16, 2008.

Schultheis, age 27, 302 West Ninth Street, Rock Falls, Illinois, was arrested in the unit block of South Galena Avenue on January 1, 2008 at 1:05 a.m. for Resisting/Obstructing a Peace Officer and three valid Lee County Sheriff's Department warrants for Contempt-Non-Payment-Failure to Appear. Schultheis was unable to post bond and was taken to the Lee County Jail.
